Exciting news Update! In October, we announced with great excitement that we were joining in a collaboration for out-of-network (OON) claim reimbursement. Since then, ChatterSoupe has moved to services offered by Mentaya to continue a collaboration service for our newly welcomed OON clients!
This happened after receiving communication from Float’s CEO, Chris Mitchell, that “the company failed to secure sufficient funding,” and he is, “shutting down the business”. However, “all clients presently onboard will continue to receive payment processing and billing until December 1, 2023 and claims filing to the end of the year”, (C. Mitchell, business communication, November 13, 2023).
ChatterSoupe recommends services offered by Mentaya . It is a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and helped people get thousands of dollars back per year.
Note: Mentaya’s goal is to save you time and money. It’s completely optional, and as your therapist, I do not benefit in any way from your participation.
(If you are a therapist reading this and want to add Mentaya to your practice, use this link, for 30 days of the instant benefits calculator as no cost. If you become a member, I will earn a small compensation.)
