“Let’s Chat”

All of our meetings are via telehealth. Start with a casual chat with your therapist to ask questions and share your concerns by video. The fully licensed therapist may ask more questions to understand the problem better. They may also share some about the style they use to help you.

Most clients report that their concerns and discomfort are lessened after chatting before committing to treatment. They feel cared for from the first contact and receive quality attention to their needs. Many share that they enjoy feeling empowered before investing time.

Payment Options

As a private psychotherapy practice, we are able to offer a variety of ways for you pay for services:

  • Cash/Credit – not seeking insurance reimbursement
  • Commercial plan partnerships
  • Out-of-network insurance claims made easy!

Cash or Credit

This option which provides you with the most privacy is paying via credit or other secure electronic means. Through this option, an agreement is made with your therapist to pay a set rate for a pre-determined number of sessions. This option works well for those who choose not to purchase an insurance policy and want retain full control over their healthcare information keeping it from insurance companies and others when revealing such information could lead to discrimination through algorithms, violations of recordkeeping, and governmental overreach. This is further protected through a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) which is discussed in depth below. We accept credit cards, Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSAs) and work with Stripe for electronic fee processing.

We participate with (are in-network with): United Healthcare / Behavioral Health (UBH)

As of July 14th, 2025, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield/Carelon and related affiliates is no longer accepted for in-network services. Persons holding such a policy may be eligible for reimbursement. Questions about your policy can be addressed by your insurance representative. All payments are due in full on or before the time of service and will be charged to the card on file.

Private Practice

ChatterSoupe is a private practice organization offering talk therapy (psychotherapy services). Our focus is working with adults (age 18+) challenged with symptoms of emotional, behavior, and/or relationship struggles.

Sessions (meetings) are available for individuals, couples or groups of heterosexual women and men. We strive to keep a foundation associated with a Charismatic Christianity, although your treatment may or may not include faith-based work depending upon your customized needs and desires.

Gender identity and other orientations

Should you identify otherwise, we are happy to speak with you and assist you in locating a provider better suited for your needs. Although ChatterSoupe is culturally diversified in our training and knowledge, it would be a disservice for us to claim expertise for those seeking gender-related support and assistance.
