Mobile SMS Privacy Policy

As a current or prospective customer, you understand that you can text us STOP at any time to opt out of receiving SMS text messages from us. You can text us HELP at any time to receive help.  Your mobile information will not be shared with any third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All policies are followed as per CTIA guidelines 5.2.1. At any time if you want your information to be removed, you can contact use via our email address or regular mail.

ChatterSoupe, PLLC utilizes secure texting channels for direct communication with your clinician. When you provide us with your mobile phone number, you agree that ChatterSoupe, PLLC may send you text messages (including SMS and MMS) to that phone number. You may receive a confirmation text message, and you may need to reply as instructed to complete enrollment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. You agree to receive a final text message confirming your opt-out. Texts may be sent through an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not required to purchase our goods or services. You agree to notify us of any changes to your mobile number and update your account us to reflect this change. Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain mobile features and certain mobile features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.

 

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR MESSAGES?

By using this portal and agreeing to these terms, you are automatically signed up for the routine one directional text messages. Secure texting means both ends (you and your clinician) are encrypted end to end. This channel enables bidirectional secure texting. If your clinician participates in secure texting channel, you may receive a “secure text invite” with instructions to create a free account using your physical mobile phone number. You will need to either register or create an online account through the iPlum portal. 
 

ChatterSoupe, PLLC will never charge you for the text messages you receive however standard message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Protecting your information

Any information you share with ChatterSoupe, PLLC for text messaging and/or storage will remain in the ownership of the user, which will be stored securely in accordance with our security policy and the law. Our organization will take the necessary steps to secure your personal information with safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. At no time, will we rent or sell this information in the regular course of business. 
 

We may use your information to contact you and we may call, and/or text appointment reminders. If you do not answer, we may leave this information on your voice mail system or with any person who answers the call. Otherwise, without your consent we will not disclose your information, except where legally required to do so.

 

Subscribing and Unsubscribing

By agreeing to these terms of service you are opting in a texting reminder and marketing service and you may be offered the opportunity to text privately with your therapist (if they offer such services); and you have the right to opt out as well. When a user opts out of a texting reminder and marketing service, you will no longer receive any texts unless you re-subscribe.  We may use this service to ask for completion of satisfaction surveys, also. 
 

Limits On Our Abilities

Due legalities, we do not promise that your personal information will not be divulged to third parties in ways not explained by this privacy policy. Furthermore, we can (and you give us permission to) divulge any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials, as we, in our sole vigilance, believe needed to address and/or answer questions or resolve problems.
